Peter Gillingwater's lies expose family's dysfunctional dynamics

Drug dealing, lies, bullying, perjury, child pornography, drug addiction, a police drug raid, failure to comply with two court orders, threats to 'bury us with legal fees', false accusations of child rape, a death threat. This is my experience of the Gillingwater/Harrison family.

On 16 November 2020 Peter Gillingwater, CEO of Newfound Global stood up in court and said that my husband and I loudly accused him outside his home on Orsett Terrace in Paddington of being a paedophile and abusing his own children, causing his wife and children extreme distress in the process.

This was a lie, it never happened. It was a cynical attempt to discredit us in court and paint Mr Gillingwater as a victim.

Peter Gillingwater has faced no punishment for his perjury and using a lie to try and destroy the reputations of two people, one of whom helps the victims sexual abuse professionally. His comments still remain publicly available and he has yet to apologise or retract his completely false accusation. Unfortunately the truth about Mr Gillingwater's own family is far more damaging than the lies he told.

If Peter Gillingwater and his family can try and destroy people with a lie, then they should have no problem with the truth that it was based on being made public. 

The fact is that there were accusations of child abuse, drug dealing and neglect made against Peter Gillingwater and his wife Karen, originated in his own family who reported them both to police and social services. This was told to me by Peter Gillingwater's brother-in-law Mark Harrison, smirking as he did so, irate that his niece had 'ruined Christmas' and then indiscreetly revealing details of visits to adult sex chat sites. 

What kind of father uses a family member's obvious mental illness to try and attack two innocent people in court? What kind of family gossips about such a damaging event and smirks as they do so?

I saw with my own eyes that there is at least some truth to the accusations. Peter Gillingwater provided all of the cocaine to Mark Harrison's 50th birthday party. He denies this of course, as he also denies calling Mark Harrison 'the family problem', and threatening 'the family would bury us with legal fees'. The fact is that it is all true.

This was just one of a raft of lies which were part of an orchestrated legal campaign of untruths and denial that was deliberately designed by their lawyers to try and price us out of even getting to court. The key elements of this 'defence', that we were coercive and bullying were dropped on the first day of court as they were blatantly contradicted by the evidence and were just use to increase to cost of bringing legal action.

Unfortunately for the Gillingwater/Harrison family the truth about them is far more toxic than the lies they tried to use to subvert the justice system.

How far would you go to win in court? Would you lie? Maybe bend the truth a little, or perhaps your recollection of events might be slightly in your favour. Letter to London and Partners Re mentor Peter Gillingwater

Dear London and Partners, We ask that you remove Peter Gillingwater CEO of Newfound Global as a mentor as his previous behaviour excludes him from representing London at any level. In May 2020 Mr Gillingwater submitted a witness statement to the High Court's Chancery Division which was a completely untrue and vicious attack on his ex brother in law. I have copied the offending passages below which contain allegations that were a premeditated attack to discredit an NHS psychology professional in front of the judge.
